Transcript

[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello and welcome back to the Gaming Backlog book club. We are here to chat the beginning of the Phantom Liberty expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 and still not starting. Nocturne OP5 5N1. Don’t do it. I know you want to. Alex, don’t do it.

[00:00:16] Speaker B: I don’t want to. Okay, good. I can wait to meet Hanako Embruce. I’ll wait.

[00:00:22] Speaker A: As you should. As everybody should.

And everyone please, if you’re just listening here, join us on our Discord server, which you can find in our podcast description and episode notes as well as on our website thegamingbacklogbookclub.com we’re having some fun conversations over there, so always happy to have new members and you know, that’s the other half of being part

[00:00:42] Speaker B: of a book club.

[00:00:42] Speaker A: You don’t just listen, you can chat now. Reminder, we do go into spoilers occasionally, so if you want to avoid that, start at a previous episode, catch up and come back to this one once you’re ready.

Alex, I’m not going to say another word.

[00:00:57] Speaker B: Um, it’s the same. I’m not gonna actually, to be honest, probably I don’t think I really listened to one this section because. Okay, there wasn’t really one for Phantom.

This is.

[00:01:09] Speaker A: This is true. There’s not a lot of opportunity, at least in this segment to listen to the radio. Yeah, I did only because I was wrapping up some side quests that I had started the last time around.

So I put on 107.5 Dark Star, which is kind of frantic type of techno that they play on there, seems to align pretty well with the high octane introduction to Phantom Liberty. So just random luck.

But it got me my adrenaline pumping, that’s for sure.

Have you changed your appearance at all?

[00:01:50] Speaker B: I. Oh, I don’t know if I’ve changed.

No, I haven’t met. I have not yet changed. I’m going to. Once we can get through a ripper dog I will. But I have not because I.

From where we last ended, I went straight into this.

[00:02:06] Speaker A: Yeah.

[00:02:06] Speaker B: So yeah, I have there.

[00:02:08] Speaker A: There are some cool clothing options in the black market there, but including like a very hilarious like pimp coat outfit thing.

But like, you know, bright yellow I want to say.

But yeah, you’re right. I don’t think I only slightly modified. I was previously in like this Geralt of Rivia sort of look going on and then more recently, I don’t know, I just keep changing my hairstyle because it’s entertaining to do so and See it different in the menu.

Anyway, listeners, we also want to see on Discord what your V looks like now. If you have made any changes.

Now let’s jump into it before we, I guess, jump into Phantom Liberty.

Not sure if this has happened to you, but since, at least on my end, since Panam had all of her frustrations with Saul previously, she started texting me randomly about it to vent. Um, and it gave me the option to either defend or talk crap about Takamura in the process.

[00:03:19] Speaker B: Interesting.

[00:03:19] Speaker A: Does that ring any bells to you? So she. Yeah, she was just venting about Saul and so it gave me that option to talk either. Like, just.

[00:03:26] Speaker B: I don’t know.

[00:03:27] Speaker A: I defended him, of course, since he seems all right to me, at least till this point.

It is nice to see the fact that they incorporated something simple like that in here though, because it almost feels like the difference between Johnny’s opinions taking over versus V’s own opinions.

Because Johnny does not. Made it hard to tell how he feels about the guy.

And yes, I mentioned. So in addition to actually starting Phantom Liberty a little bit later, I did clean up some of those side jobs related to Judy, which he walked us through. Your version of last time. As a male V, I was regrettably unable to romance her, so we just kind of became best buds. She’s very different from Jackie and certainly has her trauma to work through, but she’s a good person to have around. So, yes, I will say the side quest path. Because of that lack of romance, you just realize, like, yeah, you can rely on each other. She still shows you around her town underwater.

You still kind of have the relic knock you out and then she pulls you out of the water.

And by the end of it, you know, when you’re in the apartment, you just go into your separate rooms and when you wake up, she. Judy gives you access to her apartment.

[00:04:46] Speaker B: Okay, so she still does.

[00:04:48] Speaker A: Johnny was pretty pissy about hanging out after she had her kind of traumatic revelation about what happened at Clouds.

He just said, let’s ditch her. And no, I just stayed anyway.

Did she? I don’t recall. Did she leave town for you or is she still in Night City?

[00:05:07] Speaker B: She’s still in Night City.

[00:05:09] Speaker A: So she basically told me when she gave me access to the apartment, I’m gonna leave. Like, I just gotta get out of here. I’ve been put through the wringer and I don’t know if I’ll ever see her again. She didn’t talk like we would, but she said, give me a call. That was it.

[00:05:24] Speaker B: Okay. No, ours is like. We’ll leave together.

[00:05:27] Speaker A: Oh, all right. So she’s going to wait until you’re ready to leave, I guess.

[00:05:31] Speaker B: Yeah, we’ll see.

[00:05:35] Speaker A: Well, we’ll see what happens.

[00:05:37] Speaker B: Yeah. Exactly.

[00:05:39] Speaker A: Did you. I think you had started. You mentioned to me offline that you had started another route of another quest line, and I ran into this too, starting with a quest called I Fought the Law.

[00:05:55] Speaker B: Yes. So actually. Yeah. So I didn’t. Yeah. Before I did start Phantom Liberty, I did finish off the river Ward side quests. Like his storyline.

[00:06:06] Speaker A: His. His whole. It’s. It’s such a fun quest line.

Quest line overall. But I thought the Lost specifically was a great quest. I felt like even just standalone, where you’re working as, like, the detective to uncover info.

[00:06:20] Speaker B: Mm.

[00:06:21] Speaker A: It gave me some really brief flashbacks of La Noire’s style of investigation gameplay and really enjoyed. Did you play La Noire? I want to say.

[00:06:29] Speaker B: No. I watched you play it.

[00:06:30] Speaker A: Oh. Oh, that’s it. Okay. That’s why I remember you being around.

[00:06:33] Speaker B: Yeah. I watched you play it.

[00:06:36] Speaker A: Yeah. It’s. But it was. I think I really kind of enjoyed you follow through into this quest called the Hunt, where you’re trying to find evidence of River’s. What is it? Nephew.

[00:06:47] Speaker B: Um.

[00:06:49] Speaker A: And found a BB from death stranding in the lab during that quest.

[00:06:54] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:06:55] Speaker A: That was cool if you. Yeah. You saw that too, right?

[00:06:58] Speaker B: I saw that and I was going to send it to you because I guess I had it a few days before you, but like a day or so before you, but I just forgot to send it. But the second I saw that, I was like.

[00:07:06] Speaker A: Oh.

[00:07:07] Speaker B: I was like, bb.

[00:07:08] Speaker A: If you scan. Did you scan it?

[00:07:11] Speaker B: I did.

[00:07:13] Speaker A: So it’s. I like how it even gives you a description about how a BB can help you find BTs and all of that.

It’s just like we’ve come full circle now because there were those references to cyberpunk in Death Stranding season one of our podcast. And now we’re here and it’s calling back to that.

So I think that’s three references to Kojima at this point.

Maybe he’ll show up in the Witcher 4. Who knows?

[00:07:42] Speaker B: What’s the third one? There’s him.

BB.

What did I say?

[00:07:46] Speaker A: Oh, the bike, the motorcycle.

[00:07:49] Speaker B: Sort of looking like it. Yeah.

Yeah.

[00:07:51] Speaker A: A reverse strike.

[00:07:52] Speaker B: Yep.

[00:07:54] Speaker A: Yeah. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more, I’m sure.

Yeah. Okay. And then. So you basically.

That was a really dark quest, by the way.

[00:08:09] Speaker B: Yes, it was. It was a Very dark quest. It was, it was really cool, but it was very, quite dark.

[00:08:16] Speaker A: Very well done. I was very surprised actually arriving at that. Did, did you, you know, do all the research and find the correct farm?

[00:08:25] Speaker B: Yes, okay. I did. Yeah.

[00:08:29] Speaker A: So, yeah, I, you know, at the end of looking back on it, I was expecting to go into at least a standoff with the, you know, the cult guy.

I think he was. He was calling himself Peter Pan or someone was calling him Peter Pan. Forget his actual name and what the. River’s nephew’s name’s Randy, I think.

Yeah. Like the whole, just the whole thing around it, like he was a troubled kid and got lured in by this guy. It reminded me a bit of Silence of the Lambs and some of those other.

[00:09:04] Speaker B: Just dark, creepy Silence of Lambs slash.

Then this was very much like the Chris Hansen now movie the Kitchen Predator. It was like reading through the emails, going back and forth.

[00:09:23] Speaker A: Messed up, but just goes to show you how much deeper the lore goes when you actually read through a decent chunk of. Of those shards or tablets.

[00:09:38] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:09:40] Speaker A: Also the fact that they have these giant tubes in their mouths and their faces completely covered up like these weird.

I don’t even know what they’re supposed to be, but it kind of reminds you of the Matrix a little bit, but also with some weird BDSM stuff going on.

Just. I’m glad.

[00:09:57] Speaker B: It’s fever tubes, I think. Is it feeding?

[00:10:00] Speaker A: Like. Feeding? Like what? Like just mush.

[00:10:03] Speaker B: Well, maybe it’s not feeding. Maybe it’s taking the oxygen out. I don’t know. Because they’re all very weak and that’s true.

[00:10:09] Speaker A: And super brainwashed and it’s just all wrong. Fortunately, Randy’s alive.

[00:10:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Thank goodness. I. It was weird, like seeing all this. I’m trying to think it reminded me of something from like, I don’t know, like the game.

Not Resident Evil as much, but you know, like something like Evil within or some other type of horror games like that.

[00:10:32] Speaker A: But I, I hear you.

Yeah. I just, I don’t. I don’t know, it’s just no good. No good at all.

Yeah, I.

But it’s good to get him out of there.

You know, river has to process, so I, you know, once again there’s like way too long waiting around for phone calls back. In this case it makes sense.

Lore wise, actually in all the cases it makes sense. It’s just annoying for me if I’m trying to skip through them, but the.

The time skip thing by jumping around to the Badlands kind of works out sometimes.

But yeah, I think it definitely was a trip to do that. And it was low combat. Like, you snuck around with the security cameras.

And I think it was funny to also see was it Max Tac or just General Hospital, like, or what’s it called? Paramedic type force. Then you just gotta leave.

[00:11:34] Speaker B: That’s really.

[00:11:34] Speaker A: It is the next part after that just going to the family dinner?

I think so.

[00:11:42] Speaker B: Yes.

Because you.

Yeah. Where you.

[00:11:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Where you find.

[00:11:48] Speaker B: This is the second time going to the family.

[00:11:52] Speaker A: Yes. Right. Because you do the. You. You to investigate where he may be and you find the clues and you find the music and there’s the weird video on the screen and then you go through some like, BD flashbacks. Like that’s how you track down the guy in the first place.

[00:12:07] Speaker B: Yes. Yeah. And then.

[00:12:08] Speaker A: Yeah. So you already. You had already met Joss, River’s sister, and the two younger kids. But it’s weird to see kids in this game because there just really aren’t that many.

[00:12:19] Speaker B: There are. If you walk the streets, you’ll see them.

[00:12:22] Speaker A: Yeah, they’re always like completely by themselves in really weird parts of town.

[00:12:27] Speaker B: They’re the only ones that you. If you aim onto them with like a throwing knife or a gun, it pulls it back and it won’t let you shoot. But you can with any other civilian.

[00:12:36] Speaker A: As it should. Thank you.

[00:12:39] Speaker B: I know, but I’m just.

[00:12:40] Speaker A: That’s just how.

[00:12:41] Speaker B: Also you can tell which one’s a kid, but good job. Cd. Cd. Projekt Red on that one.

[00:12:46] Speaker A: We don’t need that in our video games. Thank you very much.

But, yeah, I think, you know, you go and have dinner. It’s River’s cooking jambalaya.

And then.

And then what’s it called after it’s sort of finished the cooking process, but you’re not ready to eat yet, you go and play this like, AR laser tag shoot em up thing with the kids. That was. That was all right. It bugged out for me the first time, so they wouldn’t shoot at all. So I had to restart it.

I was like, why am I just completely destroying them? I’m not trying.

Because it says, let them win, you know?

[00:13:29] Speaker B: Yeah. I. So after the jumble, I think, like, I have at some point I have to go inside and I talk to. Yeah, Joss. Right. Joss sister.

And like, she kind of makes a thing of like, oh, he likes you.

Oh, yeah. So that’s. I think the difference is your love interest. So she tells him like, that he’s interested in you.

[00:13:48] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So it’s not for me. So did you have, like, flirty text options and what’s not in the conversations in between missions?

[00:13:56] Speaker B: Yeah, between missions, yeah.

[00:13:57] Speaker A: Got it. No, I had more like, buddy, buddy, like, we gotta grab a beer kind of things.

[00:14:03] Speaker B: No, I had definitely more flirty ones.

[00:14:05] Speaker A: Alrighty, then.

[00:14:06] Speaker B: And then during the dinner, while you’re eating with jambalaya, one of the kids says, like, specifically, like, oh, Uncle Ward likes you, or like, oh, you guys would be a good couple.

[00:14:16] Speaker A: Classic kids.

[00:14:17] Speaker B: Something like that. Yeah. So, yeah.

[00:14:21] Speaker A: All right, cool. Okay. And then you do. You do the AR thing and it’s time for dinner. And the dinner, it was funny, at least for me. You know, we. You start talking and then they. I guess I had the option to say, hey, do you think I would be good at having, like, what’s it called? Be a good parent or something like that? And then the kids start grilling you. And then like a second later, River’s just like, all right, thanks, Josh. See you later. And it was like a three minute dinner and the bowl’s still full. Like, I’m still hungry, man. What are you doing?

[00:14:53] Speaker B: Yeah, mine was. Yeah, you ate and all that. And so all done. Then we go inside and then.

And then it’s like around talking a little more like the sister and stuff, and I forgot the exact conversations. But then it’s like, oh, let’s go to the room.

And then as a love interest, you have here.

[00:15:10] Speaker A: Did you go to the water tower?

[00:15:15] Speaker B: Did I do that on this part or did I do that?

[00:15:18] Speaker A: I mean, I was.

[00:15:19] Speaker B: Oh, okay.

[00:15:20] Speaker A: I went up to the water.

We had some water. We went to the water tower with, like, he said, two bottles of liquor and like two cases of beer kind of thing.

[00:15:28] Speaker B: Okay. Yes.

[00:15:28] Speaker A: I didn’t do. The water tower is the safest place to be having drinks.

[00:15:31] Speaker B: But.

[00:15:33] Speaker A: But yeah, we had just a conversation about, like, oh, like, I don’t love the view because there’s too many buildings or something like that. As a nomad, that’s the route I went.

And yes. And then you just kind of presumably party until it’s time for bed, and then you wake up, both of you, with a hangover. So you had a more entertaining time, it sounds like.

[00:15:57] Speaker B: Yes, we had a more entertaining night is the way I’ll put it. And then.

[00:16:00] Speaker A: All right.

[00:16:01] Speaker B: Yeah, and then you wake up and you have, like, coffee, and then it’s like, oh, are we together? It’s like, we’re together. Like, yes, I want to continue with you. Like, what is this? And you can say like, it’s like a. If it’s just like a one night thing.

[00:16:15] Speaker A: Really? Did you choose that?

[00:16:17] Speaker B: No, no, I chose like the I could see this going somewhere thing.

[00:16:21] Speaker A: Okay, so you’re leaving the option open. So how does Judy feel about this?

[00:16:25] Speaker B: Exactly. That’s why I did it. I was curious. But as of right now, there’s no overlap because I’ve got texts from Judy saying like, hey, you want to meet up? Or I was thinking of you. So.

[00:16:37] Speaker A: All right, so you’ll probably, if you haven’t already received some of those from River 2.

So I’m, how did. Okay, I’m curious how your V is going to juggle Judy and River and not get caught.

[00:16:54] Speaker B: I’ll probably just pick Judy if there’s like a. That’s the thing. I don’t, I have no idea. Like, in the end, like, do I leave with Judy, like, if there’s actually an option for that or if it’s just like, okay, you said you’re with each other and now it’s just like, okay, I’ll go to your apartment. Your apartment. Okay.

[00:17:10] Speaker A: Okay.

Who knows?

All right, well, I, I, I want you to play Witcher 3.

I’ll just leave it at that.

Okay, so that, that essentially is the end of River’s questline. I know because I received the trophy after that.

Joss walks right by me as I walk out the door and didn’t even say anything. That was rude. I thought we were friends.

Okay, moving on. But actually thinking back on it, I fought the law. The first quest in this quest line didn’t start with you meeting River. It starts with you getting a call from Elizabeth Perales, who kind of set you on the BD investigation of the assassination or attempted assassination of the mayor, was it, of Night City.

And then it kind of you, they, they, you ask who river is after that BD experience, and then you go on this long quest line.

I have a question for you. Have you done the Pyala’s quest called Dream On?

[00:18:14] Speaker B: Yes, I did do that one.

[00:18:15] Speaker A: You did the whole quest?

[00:18:17] Speaker B: Yep. Yeah, I finished that whole quest.

[00:18:19] Speaker A: I love that quest.

[00:18:23] Speaker B: That was pretty crazy.

[00:18:25] Speaker A: If anyone who started I Fought the Law and unlocks Dream on, absolutely, go for it.

It’s a perfect example of the type of creative, morally ambiguous gray area, unique side quests that CD Projekt Red excels at and is known for.

Like this quest series with the paralysis, at least so far has me thinking it might end up being kind of on par with the Bloody Baron from Witcher. 3 which people who have played Witcher 3 will know what I’m talking about.

But it really is a lot of fun and maybe we can talk about it in a future episode.

[00:19:02] Speaker B: But

[00:19:05] Speaker A: it was great.

Conspiracies abound.

And I am curious what your final decision was in that. That sort of round of conversations,

[00:19:16] Speaker B: but

[00:19:17] Speaker A: I did also, I guess just the last little bit. There’s another side job that I was not planning on doing. But it was. It seemed like it was going to be a quick one where you meet this Brain Dance street vendor standing near the fast travel point of the Japantown Cherry Blossom Market.

Does this ring a bell? Did you run into this.

[00:19:39] Speaker B: Wait, say that again. It was a what? A street vendor.

[00:19:41] Speaker A: It’s. It’s a street vendor standing next to the fast travel point of the Japantown Cherry Blossom Market who’s just like saying, hey, I got the craziest Brain Dances. Come check them out if you’ve. And I. You know what? I think it’s literally just because I happened to walk by that fast travel point and was about to use it, that it unlocked this quest. Like it put it on my map. So I don’t know if you would show up if you didn’t walk by the guy.

[00:20:08] Speaker B: I don’t know if I did do this.

[00:20:11] Speaker A: All right, well, it’s. It’s something. When we do our. Our next episode about tracking, like knocking out a bunch of side quests. We will. I’ll make sure you find that one.

[00:20:21] Speaker B: Okay. I did a different one when I started River. When I was in River.

River Wards one of a guy who was selling a Braindance, but I didn’t have the right software and I had to buy his old deck.

[00:20:36] Speaker A: This is the guide. That’s the same one.

That’s that one. Okay. You did not. Did you continue that quest or no?

[00:20:42] Speaker B: Yes, I finished that one. Okay.

[00:20:44] Speaker A: I thought it was hilarious, you know, for a bunch of reasons. Johnny’s commentary is great for one.

And the location is too, right? Like you.

You end up.

What’s it called? You use the outdated deck because of the antique bd. And then, you know, they mug you and bring you back to the same scav point from that first quest. Saving Sandra. Like right after the six month montage.

Major callback and familiar. Right. Like you wake up and you’re just like, wait a minute, why do I know where I am? And they even. They’re talking about you too.

[00:21:21] Speaker B: Yeah, they are. Yeah.

[00:21:23] Speaker A: So that was a lot of fun. I quite enjoyed it.

[00:21:26] Speaker B: Yeah, that was a good quest.

[00:21:28] Speaker A: So finally getting to Phantom Liberty.

As we reach the Dogtown border, Songbird, who invited us here, somehow enters the biochip alongside Johnny, which causes some serious shock to V’s nervous system.

She then talks and interacts directly with Johnny and then puts him on pause. He just kind of disappears.

So now we have a new hitchhiker, and she claims she’s sitting on Space Force One with the president of Noosa, or the new usa, whose name is Rosalind Myers. The ship was hacked and her normal netrunning abilities aren’t working. So the relic was the only option and were the only contact.

Were you buying this story?

[00:22:10] Speaker B: I don’t know. Not.

I don’t know. Not fully hard to.

[00:22:16] Speaker A: Kind of hard to gauge at this point. But, like, I think the moment she says you’re our only option and she’s has the ability to, like, silence Johnny in the chip, raised my red flags immediately.

[00:22:31] Speaker B: I know. I was like, what am I, Obi Wan?

Really? Right.

[00:22:37] Speaker A: Yeah. You’re the only hope.

[00:22:38] Speaker B: I’m the only hope.

[00:22:43] Speaker A: So that makes Songbird Leia, I guess. All right, moving on.

[00:22:47] Speaker B: The problem is I can’t. I can’t stop. Whenever she just says Songbird, I. My brain automatically just goes to Bioshock Infinite.

[00:22:57] Speaker A: Like, you know, it’s definitely. Well, I won’t say anything definite because, I don’t know. I’m not. I don’t work there. But the callbacks or the visual references that, at least in my mind, I make the association to BioShock 1 and then Songbird named.

Not named after, but same name as, you know, the Songbird from Bioshock Infinite.

I feel like there’s some reflection there.

[00:23:25] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:23:27] Speaker A: But, yes, I agree every time they say her name, so I’m glad. They also sometimes call her Somi, which is what I’ll probably refer to her as most of the time, because Songbird is already a video game character in my head and not going to be upstaged either.

[00:23:39] Speaker B: No, definitely not.

[00:23:40] Speaker A: I guess I should get ahead of myself.

[00:23:42] Speaker B: Maybe it will.

[00:23:45] Speaker A: I will say, despite my suspicions, she does give us access to a new Relic Perk Tree, which we’ve seen there blurred out the entire game and is now unlocked. So I guess I’m okay with Songbird hanging out.

[00:24:01] Speaker B: Yep.

Yeah, I like the new Relic Perk

[00:24:05] Speaker A: tree, and it’s a very brief tree, so. But it’s a weird. It’s not. You don’t unlock by leveling up. You unlock by scanning terminals with old military data, so it’s a very. I think there’s What? Like maybe 10 or fewer perks in there.

[00:24:20] Speaker B: I don’t know. I have a little gripe with those because I.

Yeah, there’s a way. I understand the way it tells you when you’re by them.

Yeah, you can hear it through your controller. But I went through this section, I found like one, maybe two, and I heard it more and more, but I searched around and I could not find.

[00:24:41] Speaker A: Yeah, I only found one. So you start out with three points and I found one. So I was able to like upgrade the one bottom left part of the tree that had only two slots in it, which took up three and then one.

[00:24:52] Speaker B: Yeah, okay. I found two because I did the bottom right hand side the three.

[00:24:58] Speaker A: Okay.

[00:24:59] Speaker B: And then I did a one on the branch off of that three. And then I did the top middle one. I put one. It needs three, but I put one into it.

But I’ve heard. I’ve heard the sound like two more times and I’ve searched around and I can’t find. And I was like, I don’t understand.

[00:25:17] Speaker A: Well, hopefully they’re plentiful terminals and not like. And they just. And once you max out the tree, it just. They don’t make noise or it doesn’t matter. I hope it’s that and not like this is the one chance you have to find it and then never again. Because some of these environments in this section are. Seem like you’re not going to be revisiting them.

[00:25:35] Speaker B: Yes. Yeah, I agree.

[00:25:37] Speaker A: Well, but here’s the hoping.

The, you know, as. As we are kind of working our way through this, the whole car parking or factory or whatever that you have to do to get into Dogtown itself gave off some creepy vibes. You know, at some point I was half expecting to see zombies crop up. Not really, but it’s a lot of darkness in Phantom Liberty so far.

[00:26:03] Speaker B: Yes.

[00:26:04] Speaker A: And then emerging into the black market makes you realize that, hey, you know, Night City actually is pretty civilized when by comparison, this feels like the Wild West.

You know that the. There is a weapons vendor there that has two iconic katanas and I really. Did you look through that venue?

[00:26:26] Speaker B: I looked through. They’re expensive.

[00:26:28] Speaker A: I. Yeah, I really want both of them, but they both cost more than 100,000 eddies, so. Not yet.

There’s a classic looking one called the Satori and a hot pink one that looks like plastic, but it’s called this cocktail stick and they both have some fun perks. So. I’ll be back.

I’ll be back. Dude without a face.

He was kind of a Quirky character, too, when he was talking.

[00:26:50] Speaker B: Yeah, that was a weird. Yeah, your character. I think my character even makes a thing of saying, like, whoa, I’ve never seen Cyberware or whatever like that.

[00:26:56] Speaker A: Like, yeah, yeah, I didn’t. I felt like I shouldn’t offend the guy behind the counter full of weapons, so I didn’t choose the optional, you know, dialogue tree of.

[00:27:06] Speaker B: Oh, I did.

[00:27:07] Speaker A: Oh, did you? That’s why I said, like, maybe I will next time. What happened to your face?

[00:27:12] Speaker B: Yeah, kind of. It’s like that, but it’s like, whoa. That’s a unique bit of Cyberware.

[00:27:18] Speaker A: Okay, so the. The written line there diverts into something a little more PC, I guess. Then what’s wrong with you?

[00:27:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay.

[00:27:30] Speaker A: There are also two guys there selling BDS out of a van, speaking what I believe might be polish. And some of the items that they sell provide a ton of experience in some of the stats, and one of them buys an extra perk point. So I’ll be back for some of that stuff, too. I grabbed the one that leveled up my shinobi segment there.

[00:27:54] Speaker B: Oh, okay. I’d missed that one. Okay.

[00:27:56] Speaker A: It’s like 9,000 eddies per.

I think there’s one per each part of the tree. So, yeah, it’s.

[00:28:03] Speaker B: It’s.

[00:28:04] Speaker A: But, hey, it’s useful.

Did you do anything else in the. Here in the black market?

[00:28:13] Speaker B: I just kind of. Oh, yeah, I did. There was a little side quest for a robot that I found.

[00:28:20] Speaker A: I don’t think I found that there

[00:28:22] Speaker B: was, like, a robot who couldn’t really speak, or he’s speaking kind of garble, but he sent you pictures of where to find, like, his memory is data, and then you would transfer it back to him.

So you had to kind of find where they were. They were at different places in that black market.

[00:28:42] Speaker A: It’s pretty cool.

[00:28:43] Speaker B: Yeah.

And then at the end, I don’t know. There are multiple choices. I didn’t have a high enough stat for one.

[00:28:52] Speaker A: Yeah.

[00:28:52] Speaker B: So I did a different choice, which maybe was mean, but. Oh, well.

But yeah, that was. If you go back there, you’ll find him. I’ve just searched around there. I searched around, and then I did send you a photo, and there’s a big. So there’s that small weapons vendor, and then if you’re running around, there’s a large weapon vendor that has, like, not

[00:29:13] Speaker A: find this weapon vendor because, yeah, like, they have weapons of ammo, both sides,

[00:29:18] Speaker B: and then racks of guns, like a bunch of stuff. They have a lot of. Lot of Weapons. But then if you’re walking up to the counter and you, like, look down to your right, there’s a box that’s slightly open that says for Mr. Wick.

So. Which is such a cool reference. What.

[00:29:34] Speaker A: What is in there?

[00:29:36] Speaker B: You can’t open it.

[00:29:37] Speaker A: Oh, there’s not a. There’s not a sweet item in there. It’s just a.

[00:29:39] Speaker B: No, no, it’s just. It just. Yeah, it’s just an Easter egg, basically.

[00:29:43] Speaker A: Because I thought you sent me that screenshot and it was like a. It like looks like it’s propped open with some glowing behind it.

[00:29:48] Speaker B: So it is propped open, but you can’t open it anymore.

[00:29:51] Speaker A: Got it.

[00:29:52] Speaker B: It’s just a. It’s just a cool little Easter egg of that weapon.

[00:29:55] Speaker A: Vendor didn’t sell something.

[00:29:59] Speaker B: I. To be honest, I actually don’t even think I went up to him as the actual vendor.

[00:30:05] Speaker A: There’s an investigation to be had here. But you’re probably right. This.

[00:30:09] Speaker B: I found this while I was doing that side quest, looking for these little memory B. Whatever for the robot. So. And I saw that and yeah, I was like.

[00:30:18] Speaker A: I was like, that’s cool.

[00:30:19] Speaker B: It’s just a fun Easter egg for Keanu Reeves.

[00:30:23] Speaker A: Yet another Keanu Reeves reference.

[00:30:24] Speaker B: Yep, yep.

[00:30:29] Speaker A: And as you exit the black market, the. You climb up to the highest point in the building, essentially, to try to find. Well, to try to get a view really of the. The ship that Somi is on with the President, supposedly. And once the ship crash lands, Dogtown just immediately becomes a war zone. And it’s unlike anything we’ve really seen in the Corpo Merc street gang encounters we’ve primarily been dealing with so far.

Yeah, it’s super unique and very cool environment visually.

So it was a nice kind of change of pace from the main world we’ve been in so far.

I guess I was using throughout this whole. Well, the first portion of this section, I was using my throwing knife in stealth katana up close, and River’s iconic revolver with a scope. I added to it from afar and really starting to enjoy revolvers as part of my loadout. I was using them just because before, but now it’s like, next level. Entertaining, but yeah, even just trying to make your way towards the ship, there’s a lot of people in your way. There’s like some turrets.

Did you do anything in particular? Pretty much stick with your tried and true cyberware combo.

[00:31:55] Speaker B: Yeah, I was doing, yeah, Cyberware and yeah, then throwing knife, a lot of that. And then.

My gosh, my.

What’s It Ropes. Not ropes, you know, mono wire.

[00:32:08] Speaker A: Yeah.

I do feel like you have more tricks up your sleeve with your cyberware, your netrunning cyberware, compared to my Sandevistan and optical camo. Camo combination.

[00:32:19] Speaker B: Yeah, I’ve. I’ve changed. Like, at Ripper Docs and other ones, I’ve changed, like, what I can have. So now I have, like, most of them are tier fours or tier fives of nice of them so they last longer or they do more damage. And I added a new ones. Like, I have suicide. I have.

I can do sonic shock, which isn’t even traceable, so I can give them a sonic shock and then run up to them.

[00:32:47] Speaker A: Sounds fun. It sounds like definitely part of my future build and possibly very cool.

Yeah, it’s. I mean, it’s just kind of like even though we’re using similar weapons in some cases, our play style is still diverged pretty significantly between.

Between our builds.

And. Yeah. As you finally make it on board, you find the President and she can really hold her own.

[00:33:16] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.

[00:33:17] Speaker A: Able to incapacitate V.

Did you. Did you pull off the punch, quick time thing, like, hit the button in time? I was like, I think that’s the President. I probably shouldn’t be punching it, but, you know, gut reaction has a long time. I hit the bummer. You just like, do it automatically and then she still knocks you out.

[00:33:37] Speaker B: Yeah, she knocked. Yeah, I did. I did get the punch. I hit the button.

[00:33:41] Speaker A: But it is good to know she can defend herself because this guy Kurt and his militia mean business, that’s for sure.

[00:33:50] Speaker B: Yes, they do.

[00:33:52] Speaker A: And then as you. As you. Okay, you convince her that you’re V and that Somi called her, called you, and you’re on the same side, blah, blah, blah. She’s thankful that you’re around.

And then you have to escape.

And there is, like, this giant wave. There’s a turret and a giant wave of enemies that come at you. I died a number of times in my escape from the plane.

Not sure if it’s because I was in hard mode and this is just next level difficulty, but I had to swap out my load completely a bit for taking out that mech from afar because my katana wasn’t doing enough damage quickly enough.

[00:34:27] Speaker B: Okay.

[00:34:29] Speaker A: So I swapped to this level five precision rifle that I had found to take it out from far away, and did it pretty quickly, which is my first time using a precision rifle. And I gotta say, I loved the experience.

[00:34:41] Speaker B: Yeah, I have used one earlier.

[00:34:43] Speaker A: They’re good, I think. I like it. Better than the standard sniper rifle in here. And I don’t. Yeah, I’m considering a precision rifle centered build now for next playthrough, whenever that happens.

And then sneaking around in the dark corridors of this building with the drone searching for us and the neon lights outside honestly gave me some serious BioShock vibes. BioShock1 and had me on the edge of my seat. You know, I’ll take a cyber rapture any day because we’re not getting a new bioshock for anytime soon. And this will have to have to do.

[00:35:22] Speaker B: But before that part, how did you do in the drive? Like the.

[00:35:28] Speaker A: Oh, the drive to get in there

[00:35:30] Speaker B: to get to the garage?

[00:35:32] Speaker A: Yeah. So did you steal the. You stole the truck?

[00:35:35] Speaker B: I got the car.

[00:35:36] Speaker A: Yeah, I stole the truck.

I went. And then immediately, of course, there’s only like one true road to get over there, so you can’t really stealth in a truck. So it said, lose your tail. So me said, lose your tail before you approach the garage.

And I just went. I went into one of those kind of driveways of what looked like, you know, in real life would be a hotel or something, like something off the main street. And I just turned around and went back the other way. And I don’t know if I triggered something or if it was a bug, but they just kind of stopped following me when I was re approaching the area and then kind of just drove in. I was con. Up until that point. I was considering not fighting them, but reloading a save just to like, crouch sneak into the area in the first place. But I lucked out. What about you?

[00:36:26] Speaker B: It was so different.

I got. Because you get police on your tail as well.

[00:36:31] Speaker A: Yes, but they’re not police. They’re the Dogtown police, which aren’t really police according to the shard that I saw.

[00:36:37] Speaker B: And I was like trying to drive away, and I didn’t realize it saying, lose your tail, because I was so focused on like, I was shooting out of the car and with the car and trying not to get run off the road, and I didn’t notice that. And I got to the garage door and it was shut, and I slammed right into it. And then a car behind me slammed into the back of me, so I couldn’t go anywhere. So I just had to get out of the car and I just kept getting wave after wave after wave of enemy and I just had to kill everybody. And then finally it like, slowed down to almost a stop and I saw the garage door open and I walked through, but it didn’t it doesn’t trigger if you walk through. You have to drive. So I got back in the car and then just drove through and then it triggered and. But I went through about six to seven waves of enemies that just came at me.

[00:37:29] Speaker A: So what you’re saying is you just leveled up like four times in that process?

[00:37:33] Speaker B: Yeah, basically.

They just kept coming at me. I hit the garage door and I was like, oh, why is it not opening? And then I just got slammed from behind so I couldn’t go backwards.

[00:37:44] Speaker A: Well, that’s fun.

[00:37:45] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:37:46] Speaker A: Okay.

[00:37:46] Speaker B: Well, I will say President Myers, she fought too.

[00:37:51] Speaker A: So yeah, President Myers has been coming in pretty handy so far. Yeah, I guess the military time, she said, is what serves her. So.

[00:37:58] Speaker B: Yeah,

[00:38:02] Speaker A: glad to know the President can handle their own business.

[00:38:04] Speaker B: Exactly.

[00:38:06] Speaker A: And yeah, and then you do the kind of the sneaking scenario and then you go through the museum that according to the shards, was about to open up with a big launch and then got shut down and you’re moving through, you’re about to get out of there and move along and they find you because of the car you stole.

[00:38:31] Speaker B: And

[00:38:34] Speaker A: so many powers up. This Chimera mech, a gigantic thing, looks like a Metal Gear.

It kills all the enemies there, but then goes haywire, ditches Songbird’s control and. Yeah, fun stuff. I recognized it as a giant boss fight and ran up under its belly where I hoped it wouldn’t be able to shoot me, and started splashing with my katana just like non stop, as long as I had stamina. And before realizing all that, before realizing that the game was prompting you to run and escape instead of stand and fight.

[00:39:10] Speaker B: Yes, on that section.

[00:39:11] Speaker A: Yeah. So I had a good laugh about that.

And in the subsequent chase, I was surprised by how many quick time events there were.

Not something we’ve really seen out of this game. So I wasn’t expecting that. But I guess that’s how they make this a more scripted cinematic event. Obviously.

I did once again have to completely switch out my loadout to a faster firing pistol instead of my revolver for the fight against the Chimera itself.

Yes, because the first attempt I made, I jumped on its back and then slashed it to hell. But then all the weak points became the important detail of the fight, because slashing its metal wasn’t doing anything. So I realized that wasn’t going to work. And so I switched to a regular old pistol.

And I did. I. I died many, many times in this, to the point that I dropped the difficulty just to get through it, because I finished this as of a couple hours ago, right in time to record here.

But it was a. It was a fun fight. It was very much like a.

It reminded me a bit of like a Nintendo style, like attack the weak points.

And I’ll say. I guess I don’t know about how you feel about it, but while I appreciate her support in actually fighting throughout this whole segment, President.

Madam President here is very annoying with her just attack the weak points commentary.

[00:40:43] Speaker B: Yeah,

[00:40:46] Speaker A: I guess no Dev has figured out how to ditched that problem.

Maybe just a silent companion would be useful in fighting scenarios and puzzles.

Environmental puzzles.

Anyway, I think there’s a game.

[00:41:03] Speaker B: Yeah, there’s something else I played recently where someone kept saying the same thing over and over. I was like, I know

[00:41:10] Speaker A: I can’t mute this because I need the sound effects to know where the firing is coming from, but I don’t want to listen to you anymore. Yeah, but. Yeah, at least that’s like one of the only times it’s happened here so far. So I, I’ll excuse them once, but if you do that again, this, this, this escort mission is over.

I’ll end it myself.

Did you. What? Did you. Were you able to hack them back?

[00:41:37] Speaker B: No. Oh yes. As in yeah, with like quick hacks. Yeah, with quick hatch.

[00:41:41] Speaker A: I mean, I’m sure like suicide didn’t work on it, but.

[00:41:43] Speaker B: No, I didn’t do that. I did a lot of overheat weapon glitch stuff like that that helped me or give me a cyberware malfunction to like give me some extra time so I could. I was dodging a lot.

[00:41:58] Speaker A: Like, a lot you have to dodge. I got one shotted so many times by the, you know, the no charge up laser beam thing. Oh well, there’s the charge up sweeping laser, which was easy enough, but then there’s the other one that just kind of shoots immediate immediately out of nowhere. Yeah, that was very annoying.

[00:42:16] Speaker B: I didn’t realize. So then actually I used my throwing knife. I was able to a lot of my throwing knife. I could like one hit the critical points, which was nice. And if I do like a critical thing, it brings the knife. I don’t have a wait time, so it brings it right back for me to throw again.

[00:42:31] Speaker A: I didn’t, I didn’t seem to use my throwing knife. I was like, oh, okay.

[00:42:35] Speaker B: I used Skippy for like it auto aimed right on to the points and okay shot.

[00:42:42] Speaker A: So yeah, I.

Speaking of, if you haven’t found Skippy, folks, seek it out. It doesn’t seem like I had Heard about it because they made a replica of it in the real world here.

And so I knew what it was before playing this game. But then I was like, I haven’t found this thing yet. Where is it? And it’s. Yeah, it’s.

Anyone who found it just by random chance is really exploring every nook and cranny of Night City.

But it’s a fun gun. It’s fun for a variety of reasons, both because it has a mind of its own and, you know, smart guns are entertaining.

So. Okay, so you were able to. Mostly.

I didn’t think to use a throwing knife on a giant mech. It doesn’t sound like it should work.

[00:43:28] Speaker B: Yeah, but it works on the. It worked on the, you know, what’s. It points the.

But then after I was searching around the area and I didn’t realize that there are turrets that you could pull the gun off of the big. Like, big guns. And that’s how you can take out the mech or the kind of. I was like, do you.

[00:43:47] Speaker A: Do you what?

How many points do you have in the body skill tree?

[00:43:53] Speaker B: 10.

[00:43:54] Speaker A: Oh. I think that’s why I only have five, because I have my reflexes and cool at 20, and I’ve been upping technical ability to get some kind of cyberware perks. But I. My body’s at five or maybe six just for a tiny bit more health.

So I can’t rip off a turret.

[00:44:17] Speaker B: Okay.

[00:44:18] Speaker A: But it sounds like a fun future playthrough, as do so many other variety of builds.

[00:44:23] Speaker B: Everything is at 10 with the exception of cool.

Everything is at least at 10 with the exception of cool. Cool, which is at 20.

And reflexes, which I up to 15 or 16 because I just fully unlocked air dash straight.

[00:44:42] Speaker A: Wait.

[00:44:43] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:44:43] Speaker A: What level are you?

[00:44:45] Speaker B: That is a very good question. I didn’t look 40 something. Okay, 42.

[00:44:49] Speaker A: I think I’m like maybe 3,940.

[00:44:53] Speaker B: I might be 42. All right. All right, I’ll check.

Okay. I’m not.

I don’t know what the max level is. Is it 50?

[00:45:00] Speaker A: I have no idea.

I have no idea.

[00:45:03] Speaker B: I know the max. The max street cred level because I’m at. That is 50. That I know.

[00:45:07] Speaker A: Okay. I am not. I don’t think. I think I’m at level 30 something street cred. I think I’m at level 39 or 40. I think I’m at level 309 as my regular level, and I have no idea what the max level is. Usually games have a cap, and then the expansion gives you like another 10 levels or something.

[00:45:25] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:45:26] Speaker A: I mean in other games that I’ve played with expansions, but I. Who knows?

[00:45:30] Speaker B: But like, I know the perks. Sort of like shinobi and.

[00:45:34] Speaker A: Yeah.

[00:45:34] Speaker B: So.

[00:45:34] Speaker A: Well, the perks are like. Perks are the name of the skill tree itself that you can unlock. And then the. The what is the. I don’t know what the. Yeah, it’s a weird kind of three tiered level up system where you can. The perks are the ones that you can refund a point into any actives or passive skill at any moment and you can do it one by one.

[00:45:57] Speaker B: Skills then.

[00:45:57] Speaker A: And there’s the. The ones that like body. What’s it called? Body. Technical ability.

Cyber Is cyber. One of them Body reflexes. Cool Technical ability. And the other one, intelligence. Those are attributes. Those you can only refund, I think once.

[00:46:14] Speaker B: Yeah, I’ve never refunded on that.

[00:46:15] Speaker A: Neither have I. And then the other one that I only found it randomly when I saw, I leveled up in it and I hit the, you know, right on the D pad is those ones that are shinobi.

[00:46:25] Speaker B: So those are skills. Okay.

[00:46:27] Speaker A: Those are the skills. Like those. And those are done. Those are done by actually doing specific things. A quantity of a specific action in the game.

[00:46:35] Speaker B: Yep. With like based on your level. Weapons.

[00:46:37] Speaker A: Yeah, right.

[00:46:38] Speaker B: Whatever. Yeah. Yep.

[00:46:40] Speaker A: So you improve that by doing it kind of like in Red Dead Redemption 2 where you improve your stats by doing things. So. Okay, I hear you.

[00:46:51] Speaker B: I think. I think their max is 60 and I think the. I think Headhunter might be the one I have at like 50 something. Maybe. 50. Okay, maybe actually like high 40.

[00:47:00] Speaker A: I think I’m at like 29 for both of those.

[00:47:03] Speaker B: But because I use the throwing knife so much. Like it’s for throwable weapons. So that’s.

[00:47:07] Speaker A: Yeah, it is fun. That do like the throwing knife quite a bit.

[00:47:10] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:47:13] Speaker A: All right.

But yeah, it was, you know, this is like the first kind of, I guess more traditional style boss fight that we’ve had. Like there’s a lot of like big group gang fights sneaking around. But like this is a true on boss fight where you’re against something way bigger than you are and it’s very dangerous and could one shot you. You know, that doesn’t happen all that often.

But it was fun. It was hard, but it was fun.

[00:47:47] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:47:47] Speaker A: Something different.

[00:47:48] Speaker B: Yeah, it was.

[00:47:50] Speaker A: And then you go into the tunnels, right. To get out of there to get over to your hideout that Somi pointed out. But she goes MIA And Johnny is back.

[00:48:00] Speaker B: Yep.

[00:48:01] Speaker A: Not A good sign.

You know, I don’t mind having Johnny back, but where is our person that’s going to help fix our problem?

[00:48:10] Speaker B: Exactly.

[00:48:11] Speaker A: And then you get into an elevator and the relic knocks you down again. Did you tell the president the details or did you hide the details?

[00:48:20] Speaker B: No, I told her the details.

[00:48:22] Speaker A: Yeah, it was the Arasaka biochip. What could go wrong with telling her this?

[00:48:27] Speaker B: I don’t know.

[00:48:30] Speaker A: She knew it was the relic and then made the connection that you were there when.

Man, I’m forgetting the guy’s name, the father. So that’s it. When Sabotu was killed and kind of assumed that you weren’t part of it but appreciated the honesty. I think, I think the decision to tell her might come back to bite us though.

[00:48:54] Speaker B: I don’t know how I wouldn’t be shocked by that.

[00:48:56] Speaker A: Yeah, I don’t know if you read the shards that said how she had a lot of enemies and that she, you know, was prior military, she was a leader of a corporation and, and has a lot of enemies in it. Obviously the story seemed to be going that direction because this guy is trying to. Kurt is trying to knock her down.

Could probably count on it biting us but hey, that’s part of the story.

And then the last bit before we wrapped up. Did you kill the intruders of the hideout?

[00:49:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I did.

It didn’t give me dialogue to talk to them. I thought I had to walk closer to them to get the dialogue to go so I could talk and give me options but it never popped up. And then I got too close and they both turned red and started to shoot at us and I just killed them both.

[00:49:51] Speaker A: Okay. I’m curious where our paths diverge here. So it gives you the option and there’s another, you know, quick time dialogue choice of hey, I want to talk to them about it. When you’re crouched behind, when you just listening to them talking to each other and then you’re crouched behind.

[00:50:06] Speaker B: Yeah. And I said, I said I want to talk to them about it. And then when I was walking up to them it never, so I don’t know if it glitched on me. It just never popped up with a dialogue.

[00:50:14] Speaker A: So yeah, when I, when we stood up they, you know, immediately identified it as the president.

I, I was, it’s because it, you know, the quest says go talk to them. So I approached them like you did. I got pretty close. Not like right, right in their face. And then the one of them said back off. So I took a couple steps back and even Though the conversation had already gone with between them and her had already gone a little bit by backing off, it restarted the conversation from the point that we stood up, which was kind of weird. So that bugged out.

But then I, you know, I used my Nomads dialogue option to kind of convince them and then, yeah, they ended up backing down.

The guy, I forget his name, Jacob maybe. The guy that was more of a smooth talker. Well, thinks he’s a smooth talker.

Cut a deal with the President that she’ll buy him a Mayfield, which is one of those like very high end fancy cars that we see in the.

Yeah, the auto fixer window.

So she owes him a car.

And you know, on her end I’m surprised she’s not extremely suspicious and just want to get rid of them. I mean she did before I told her to. I’ll talk to them.

But the fact that she’s willing to have these people in the same building is strange.

But hey, don’t judge a book by its cover.

At the same time, she owes this guy a car.

But she says, hey, we have two extra guns in case anything happens. So they seem to be on our side for now. They go into that other back room and you can chat with them a little bit at a couple lines of dialogue. And then.

Yeah, as I woke up from passing out, the taller of the two said he made me coffee. Oh, and she’s outside of the balcony. That’s where we stopped.

[00:52:15] Speaker B: Oh no. So for me I.

[00:52:17] Speaker A: You have a chat right before you go to sleep. You have a little chat with the President.

[00:52:20] Speaker B: But yeah, but before that I killed them both. And then she tells me, okay, put dump their bodies in the chute out there.

So you pick up the body. And then when you pick up the body and start to walk out there, it does like the fade out and then it’s like, then it just shows you like cinematic wise dumping the body in and then it.

Then you just feed you back into the.

[00:52:42] Speaker A: That’s funny.

[00:52:44] Speaker B: Yeah, it’s not like you. I didn’t have to pick up and walk back and forth with the body.

[00:52:48] Speaker A: Yeah, it’s. So I guess I, I will continue to fill you in if, if they stick around the story very long. Yeah, they are very funny characters. Like, well written. I think as far as complete polar opposites because it’s really entertaining to see them interacting with her.

But yeah, yeah, we’ll have to catch up on what happens on my end and if it is a detriment to you because you don’t have two extra guns. I don’t know. Maybe someone swarms us.

[00:53:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I don’t know.

[00:53:17] Speaker A: But yeah, that is where we leave things for today and for next time, play through the not the rest, play through another section of the Phantom Liberty expansion up until you finish the quest called Get It Together, where you meet someone named Solomon at the Moth Bar, then save and quit and hang on for next time.

[00:53:42] Speaker B: Yep. Thank you everyone for listening.

Hope you had a fun time with the start here of the Phantom Liberty dlc.

[00:53:50] Speaker A: It’s definitely a high velocity.

[00:53:52] Speaker B: Yeah, high velocity.

[00:53:53] Speaker A: It definitely seems darker as well, both visually and thematically. Yeah.

[00:54:00] Speaker B: Yeah.

So. And we’ll see what’s up with Somi or Songbird and see if she can be trusted. Really?

[00:54:09] Speaker A: I’m not sure we do have yeah, maybe Elizabeth Peralez will show back up so we can have a Elizabeth Songbird reunion.

[00:54:17] Speaker B: Yeah, maybe.

But yeah, thanks everyone for listening and have a good one.
